Some accounts include WordPress hosting, which lets you run a full WordPress website inside your CRM. Instead of using a separate host, you provision and manage the site — themes, plugins, users, and backups — from within the platform alongside your other tools.

Note

WordPress hosting is often a paid add-on and may not be enabled on every account. If you don’t see a WordPress option under Sites, it likely isn’t included in your plan. Check with whoever manages your account about availability and pricing.

What the WordPress feature offers

When enabled, the WordPress feature typically gives you:

• Managed hosting for one or more WordPress sites, provisioned in a few clicks.
• Theme management — install and switch the themes that control your site’s design.
• Plugin management — add plugins to extend functionality (forms, SEO, e-commerce, and more).
• User management — create and manage WordPress admin and editor accounts.
• Backups — scheduled or on-demand snapshots you can restore if something breaks.
• A direct link to the WordPress admin dashboard (wp-admin) for day-to-day content work.

When to use WordPress instead of the native builder

The built-in Websites builder is the fastest way to launch a site that lives in the same ecosystem as your funnels, forms, and CRM. WordPress makes sense when you need something the native builder isn’t designed for.

Tip

You can run both. Use WordPress for a content-heavy marketing site or blog, and use native funnels for campaigns and lead capture — then connect them with links and tracking.

Creating or connecting a WordPress site

The exact steps vary by account, but the general flow is:

1. Open Sites and select WordPress.
2. Choose to create a new site. You’ll typically pick a name and a domain or temporary subdomain.
3. Wait for provisioning to finish — the platform sets up the WordPress install for you.
4. When it’s ready, open the WordPress admin dashboard to begin building.

If you’re moving an existing site, plan a migration: export your current content, import it into the new install, and reconnect your domain once everything looks right.

Basic management

From the WordPress section of your CRM you can handle routine maintenance without logging into a separate host:

1. Manage themes — install a theme and set it active to change the site’s look.
2. Manage plugins — add, activate, update, or remove plugins. Keep them updated for security.
3. Manage users — add team members with the right WordPress roles, and remove access when people leave.
4. Run and restore backups — take a snapshot before major changes so you can roll back safely.

Caution

Always take a backup before updating WordPress core, themes, or plugins. Updates occasionally introduce conflicts, and a recent snapshot lets you restore the site quickly if a page or feature breaks.

Connecting your domain

A new WordPress site usually starts on a temporary address. To go live on your own domain, point its DNS records to the platform per the instructions shown when you create the site, then set the domain in the WordPress site’s settings. As with any DNS change, allow time for it to propagate before expecting the site to resolve.
